School and Work

Life’s been busy with classes, homework, work, and trying to have a social life. But I’ve finally got a chance to reflect….

I work at Blockbuster down here. There are two stores here within 5 miles of each other. I assumed that there was so much business, that the two were pretty much evenly split and needed. This is the farthest thing from the truth. One store, is constantly being raided and stormed by armies of bored college kids, drunk and/or high after a really good night. The other store, well let’s just say it’s where nobody goes. I work at the latter. I’ve had as many as twenty customers in one night, to as little as ten ALL night. Normally, I like a little time to myself. But five to eight hours of standing in a store all by myself can get a little boring. The saving grace is that everyone is really cool and it’s even a more laid back environment.
