Monthly Updates…
It’s starting to seem like I’m only writing an article a month. I mean, I’m not really doing much outside of working my weekends away, reading some Chuck Palahniuk, WoW every now and then, and sleeping ’til 2 in the afternoon. But things are definitely about to change.
My dad has requested that I not only need to work while I’m home, but I apparently need two jobs. Because on my summer break from college, that’s what I’d just love to do. Work all week, then all weekend. But the job hunt isn’t going so well. My “movie” friend back in PSU hasn’t called me for a month, so I don’t know what to think about that. Only two months until I have to go back…
There are some good things to bring up however. Concerts. Breaking Benjamin in Phillie and Ozzfest right here at Montage are coming up this month. Good times to be had by all. Another cool thing is a friend that I hadn’t talked to in seven years just got a hold of me. I’ve moved a few times in my life. From Florida first, then from one town in Pennsylvania to Carbondale, where I live now. I lived in Kingston for three years before moving here, and left rather abruptly in the middle of a school year. I lost a lot of friends and had no way of getting a hold of them - as not everyone had the internet yet. But thanks to this site, his girlfriend was able to get a hold of me and I’ll be heading down to Kingston to catch up on some good ol’ times sometime in the next week.
And last but not least, movies. The new adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow are coming up, and I plan on being there opening night. That, and possibly Superman Returns. Even though everything I’ve been hearing hasn’t been the best, I’d still like to see how it was handled. Anyway, hopefully I’ll be more active on here, as I have some writing to do to get prepared for the coming semesters. Even though I think I said the same thing last time…
