The More Offensive, the Funnier?

I’m not really sure how I feel actually. I’ve always enjoyed shows dubbed as “offensive and racist.” Maybe that’s only because I’ve never truly been offended. I mean, I know when a show is going farther than most have. The perfect example is “Wonder Showzen.” Now, if you haven’t seen this show and enjoy really racist and anti-religious subject matter that bends the laws of the FCC, this show is as bad as you can get. For some reason, I can’t help but love it. Be it D.O.G.O.B.G.Y.N. (it’s a dog that is a gynecologist and delivers babies in the strangest of situations, normally from a white couple with the resulting infant being black… subtle, yet effective), children on the streets asking adults awkward questions (like asking men and women on Wall Street who “they took advantage of today…”), or the ridiculous number of references to puppets’ sexual appetites. It’s really the only show that has ever made me sit back, say “Wow… that was bad,” and develop slowly into a dark chuckle. It airs on MTV2 and actually has some new episodes coming up. If you’re easily offended, I urge you to stay away, but if you think “Family Guy” is a weak cup of joe, “Wonder Showzen” just might do the trick for you.

Included is a video from the show. This is no where near as offensive as the show really is, but generally a safe(r) video as to not offend too many people. Enjoy!
